Itinerary

Day 1:Piraeus, Greece

The largest port in the Mediterranean and primary departure point for Greek Island cruises from Athens, Piraeus is a hubbub of activity that will bring your senses to life. With a sun-soaked promenade, al-fresco cafes and bars and countless shops, it’s a place where you can easily relax with a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Day 2:At Sea

A wonderful opportunity for you to enjoy our trademark hospitality, flawless service and on-board entertainment. Take the time and get to know your ship as you cruise from Piraeus towards the port of Alexandria. Entertainment and music performances, fine dining at our restaurants, exercise programs, games, handicrafts, language lessons and contests – there’s always something to do on board for everyone. If you prefer to take the time out to relax, let Celestyal Crystal take care of you. Whatever you do, don’t forget to end your night on our promenade decks, where you can revel in the splendor of a starlit sea sky.

Day 3:Alexandria & Port Said, Egypt

Sitting on Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline, Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt, is where you’ll join a guided excursion to Cairo and beyond. From here, there’s everything at your fingertips – the mighty Suez Canal, Egypt’s capital and the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Giza Pyramid.

Sitting on Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline, Port Said is your last stop after an excursion into Cairo. A stroll along the Corniche before you re-embark your cruise will reveal the city’s maritime prowess and power. And with faded 19th century colonial consulates and mansion houses lining the entry into the mighty Suez Canal, you can’t help but stop and stare at the activity, noise and sounds around you.

Note: travelers who have chosen one of the available excursions should disembark from the ship to the port of Alexandria and continue by road. Excursions are completed at Port Said where the travelers are boarded again.

Day 4:Ashdod, Israel

Located on the sun-soaked Mediterranean coastline, Ashdod is the starting point for a pilgrimage all of your own. A melting pot of religious monuments and cultural offerings can all be found within a short trip, and there’s something for every taste.

Day 5:Limassol, Cyprus

Your first glimpse of Limassol from the cruise ship is its shiny, modern marina, filled with row upon row of yachts and fishing boats. You’ll be greeted by busy bars and restaurants that make optimum sunset-watching settings, but walk further along the never-ending seafront promenade, Molos, and Limassol’s past will soon reveal itself.

Day 6:Rhodes, Greece

Approaching Rhodes island by sea is an experience all of its own. The clifftop Acropolis at Lindos rises slowly from the still blue waters, evoking the ancient Colossus which once adorned the harbor, and modern hillside villages lay in the shadow of the imposing medieval fortification.

Day 7:Kusadasi, Turkey

Approaching Rhodes island by sea is an experience all of its own. The clifftop Acropolis at Lindos rises slowly from the still blue waters, evoking the ancient Colossus which once adorned the harbor, and modern hillside villages lay in the shadow of the imposing medieval fortification.

Day 8:Piraeus, Greece
